16 to 22 (even) are a row of Grade II Listed 18th century properties. Olive Tree with the door in the centre is 18a. Previously it has been The Collection/Well Suited and Gallery Artemis. An 18b also crops up in early planning applications. No.16, I Do Bridal Ltd was incorporated on 13th November 2003 and seems to have been here since then. In 1987 no.16 is referred to as 'workshop on ground floor & living accommodation of first floor' and in 1989 seems to have had a new shop window. In 2013, at an address given as 16a, it was given permission to convert '1st floor and 2nd floor flat to retail and storage associated with existing retail at ground floor level'. From at least 2017 no.18 looks to be empty. In 1989 it seems to have been a Dry Cleaners. Planning granted conversion of first and second floors that had been a beauty salon to three self-contained residential flats over nos.18-22 in 2004-2006. Prior to 2010 no.18 was Al's Toys and was vacant by the April. As a result of the floods, the shop front was replaced around the end of that year.
