Road off High Street. On the right, bordering the garden of Elm Grove House, is a crinkle crankle wall, one of a number of examples in Lymington. The wavy design meant that the wall could be built in a single skin whilst retaining strength, thus saving on bricks. Dating from the 18th Century, it is grade II* listed - see https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1234599?section=official-list-entry. The streetlamp dates from the late 19th/early 20th Century and is grade II listed - see https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1276089?section=official-list-entry.
