This very eroded step-stone outside Milestone Cottage, No.6 Town Street, Old Malton has no evidence of an inscription or lost plate. But there was a Malton to Pickering tollroad from 1765-1870 so it may date from that period. There is a cut benchmark at the front of the bottom step, now at pavement level. It is Grade II listed 1282508.
