The banking branch closed in May 2023. Until 1992 the upper part of three floors was occupied by the Trustee branch which dealt with estates, trusts and investment management when it was converted into apartments on closure of that part of the business. I was fortunate to have been a manager of the trustee branch there from late 1987 until the closure in 1992. My office had a great view down Station Road- see Image] - opposite but sadly that part of town and many others are now IMO decrepit.
