This post box dates from the reign of Queen Elizabeth (1952-2022) and stands on the corner of Ocean View with Fisherman's Bay https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/7498041 on the opposite side of the road. This is a self-contained box, smaller than a pillar box, and designed to be mounted above ground level. Usually attached to a pole, slim pedestal, lamp post, or telegraph pole, but can be mounted on (or very rarely within) a wall
