Cadwallon Law Hir (Cadwallon of the Long Reach) was a 5th century warlord who had his home here on the edge of Mynydd Eilian. He was responsible for the demise of the Irish pirate Seregai who is reputedly buried in Eglwys y Bedd (Church of the Grave) within the old Roman Fort at Holyhead. Image
