Despite the heavy rain, people were still out in Romsey in Market Place to watch King Charles III's coronation on the 6th of May, 2023. Lots of waterproof jackets and umbrellas! The festivities included face painting, several food vans and a few stalls, and the main event televised on a large screen in the centre of the square. The statue of Lord Palmerston was decorated with a crown, and the square was adorned with bunting and flags.
