Winchcombe museum sits on the corner of North Street and High Street. It is advertised as a 'Folk and Police museum'. For many years it looked out onto the A46 (this major road has now been re-routed around Cleeve Hill and the High Street has become part of the B4632) and the George Hotel (now converted into flats and a shop). The old stocks are visible behind the railings in the central foreground.
