View looks south-east from the old railway bridge on the unclassified Glascoed to Monkswood road across a sheep farm typical of this area of Monmouthshire. The track visible winds its way through small fields up to 'Bryn farm'. The wood on the higher land in the background shields the western flank of the old Royal Ordnance Factory (still producing munitions under the guise of BAE Glascoed).
