St Francis de Sales is a Church off Warren Road in Newbury, near to Wash Common. St Francis de Sales was converted from a barn and farm buildings associated with the adjacent farmhouse known as Warren Lodge (now a presbytery Image]), from September 1970 to May 1971, when the church was opened and blessed by Bishop Worlock. The architect for the conversion was John Binns, who retained much of the original character of the barn, such as the roof structure and the midstrey for the porch.
