The Cotswold stone buildings on the High Street at Broadway are stunning, it felt great to see these type of buildings again since mid 2017 (Bourton-on-the-Water, no photographs sadly). The buildings in this view are on the south side of the street, and the building closest to the camera is No. 51A High Street; built around the seventeenth century with thatched roof, this housed a gift shop called Whatever the Weather in April 2022. The former Midland Bank (HSBC) was built in the early twentieth century, and No. 55 and 63 were built in the mid eighteenth century. The branch of HSBC in Broadway closed in the early 2010s, and No. 55 housed an art gallery by Richard Hagen in April 2022. With the exception of No. 51A (grade II listed in June 1973), the buildings were grade II listed in July 1987.
