Looking towards a footpath level crossing over the four bi-directional lines south of York. Network Rail are intending to close the crossing and install a bridge over the line instead. For details on the proposal see: https://www.networkrail.co.uk/running-the-railway/railway-upgrade-plan/key-projects/transpennine-route-upgrade/copmanthorpe-level-crossing/ The locomotive has run from Doncaster (1059) to York (1316-1322) and is now heading back to Doncaster (1447). The engine is 56096 running as 0Z01.
