Looking north with the Globe Hotel behind the bus. By 2023, the Cooperative store building has been taken over by three separate retail units and the distinctive fascia has disappeared, although the earlier terracotta facings have remained. The Tramway Tavern on the right has long since become a shop. Colchester Corporation's buses have also long since disappeared following the 1986 Transport Act. Bus 17 is an AEC Regent V with Massey body, new in 1957. This is one of a series of views featuring buses in the 60s, 70s, and 80s. http://www.geograph.org.uk/search.php?i=137652761
