The site is to be converted into the headquarters of Nottingham Community Housing Association, with the addition of around 50 apartments providing sheltered accommodation. The sports facilities will be retained as a community facility. The site commenced as Charnwood Comprehensive School, eventually becoming part of Central College, and later Nottingham College.
