Image: © Roger D Kidd Taken: 23 Mar 2008

Tucked away behind the Prudential Building in Holborn, the market has recently been paved over and new seating has been provided, with plenty of litter bins. The area is confused with signs such as Brookes Market, Brookes Court, Brooke's Market, and Brooke Street. The stalls are now restricted to Leather Lane (beyond the red brick Cranley Buildings). I will appreciate some information regarding when the square here was closed to traders.
