Stone post (plates lost and one replaced) by the B3302, in parish of ST ERTH (PENWITH District), Calais Road, St Erth Praze, on junction with Steppy Downs Road, on East side of road. Erected by the Local Highways Board in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : (HELSTON / 8) : : HAYLE / 2 : Cornwall & Scilly HER. HER Number: 178370 Milestone Society National ID: CW_HLHY08.
