The photograph on this page of Access covers on roundabout in Gipton by Stephen Craven as part of the Geograph project.
The Geograph project started in 2005 with the aim of publishing, organising and preserving representative images for every square kilometre of Great Britain, Ireland and the Isle of Man.

There are eight access covers arranged roughly in a circle at one side of the roundabout and on the other side is a long green control cabinet. I presume there is a water, sewage or (perhaps less likely) gas pumping station beneath here. See Image for context.
