The car park serves not only the village health centre but also the adjacent pharmacy and the Pensioners' Hall, the long single-storey building on the far side. Hence it is often full with no spaces, but not at 07:41 on a Monday morning, waiting for the doors to open at 8. The little yellow A-boards proclaim 'Caution - Wet Floor' but are there to warn against tripping over a bollard light evidently felled by some poor parking.
