Mainly early 20th Century terraced housing in Station Road. The houses on the far rights were built c.2018, replacing a furniture warehouse. The station to which the street name refers was Merton Abbey Station on the Tooting, Merton and Wimbledon Railway which closed to passenger traffic in 1929 and completely in 1975, with part of the trackbed now used for the A24 Merantun Way. The building under construction on the left is a mixed used retail/residential block replacing a variety of small industrial units known as Abbey Mill Works. The grade II listed wall to the Abbey site runs in front of the development, with the planning permission for the site requiring it to be preserved (or in the case of one section removed then fully restored).
