This inscription is on the north side of the Statue of Katie which is located at the east end of St Ann's Road near Station Road. It has the following wording: KATIE by JAMES BUTLER R.A. Unveiled by The Mayor of Harrow Councillor Miss Christine Bednell and The Maire de Douai Monsieur Jacques Vernier on the 2nd May 1987 Incidentally, Douai is a city in northern France which Harrow is twinned with, hence the joint unveiling of this statue.
