This section of St. Swithun’s Road gives an idea of what several of the neighbouring roads would have looked like before development of the area in the 1960s/70s. Now, the southern section, Image has been made a dual carriageway and several of the side-streets, such as Image and Image, comprise only offices and commuter car parks. An Edward VII-reign postbox adorns this corner of Frances Road.
