This is allegedly the largest single storey building in Kidderminster and this show only about half its length and two out of four roads. This was visited on a special guided tour and is not open to the public due to its unguarded platform edges and pits. The mark 3 sleeper carriages are being stored for a private individual (for an appropriate fee). They were apparently pulled straight from service into store with a mixture of slept in and unslept in beds, toilets left with their contents in and uneaten biscuits etc. Apparently, the conditions inside are not pleasant and workers are advised to wear masks before entering. These bays are used for carriage cleaning while another two are used for mechanical maintenance and inspection. This is a superb facility for a preserved railway.
