On a traffic island, at the junction of New Road and Main Street, stands this clock tower. It was erected in 1911 to commemorate the coronation of King George V. Constructed of squared, coursed sandstone blocks. There are blind pointed arches on each side of the lower stage and clock faces, on each side of the second stage.
