Looking towards Radcliffe Road from the derelict lock where the canal once met the River Trent. The canal was abandoned in 1936 and there are truncated sections of it in West Bridgford. At the end of the drought summer of 2022 this short stretch between the Trent and Orston Road had very little water. Part of the back of the Brian Clough Stand at Nottingham Forest football ground shows above the trees on the right.
