Cuckmere buses were set up in the 1970s to fill the gap left by the withdrawal of commercial services. The charity has built up a network of services with the help of volunteer drivers. The no 47 shown here runs hourly at weekends in British Summer Time on an anti-clockwise route between Berwick Station, Alfriston, Seaford and the Cuckmere villages.
