The name Spartalec House has been used for a third time in image contributions for grid square NY9537 as that's how the deserted house is named on OS maps. However, Christine Ruskin in her 2013 book, The Disappearing Farms of Weardale, names it as Spartalee, and makes no reference to the OS naming.
