Youths are riding around the Preston Road Estate causing anti-social behaviour on nuisance and stolen motorbikes.

Please call in on 101 to report when the bikes are riding around causing a nuisance. OP Yellowfin are doing patrols in the area at the times this has been reported.

We are aware of an increase in nuisance and anti-social motorbikes in and around the Preston Road Estate area causing a great deal of concern for local residents. This is a persistent issue around Preston Road and around Hull in general.

We have been conducting high visibility patrols particularly in the evenings with a view to deterring and identifying those responsible.

Any motorbikes identified as being involved will be issued a Section 59 Warning under the Road Traffic Act for Anti-Social behaviour.

Uninsured motorbikes will be seized.

Please continue to support us by reporting these motorbikes in your community and any information relating to who is involved and where the bikes are kept helps us greatly.

Drug Dealing within the Southcoates area.

We are aware of a number of areas that have been highlighted due to concerns around drug dealing and drug taking. In September and October 2024 we have conducted a number of warrants to target this issue which have resulted in a number of arrests.

Increase in Arson coming up to Bonfire Night

We are aware of an increase in arson in the Southcoates Area throughout September and so far in October 2024. This has occurred in a number of places but most notably on John Hadland Park by St Johns Grove and Cambridge Grove.

We are increasing our visibility throughout the coming weeks leading to Bonfire night and will be taking a zero tolerance approach to anyone committing any acts of arson or criminal damage.

Southcoates Officers are working closely with partner agencies in relation to an elderly male who has been a target of financial abuse.

We have been supporting him with security measures and regular Police and Council visits.

To reduce the demand on Public Services including Yorkshire Ambulance Service and Humberside Police, we are tackling issues with a repeat caller using up valuable time on the 999 system.
