Grade II Listed bank, built in 1876 for the North and South Wales Bank, which became the Midland in 1908 and HSBC in 1992. HSBC closed this branch in September 2021, since when the building has been unoccupied. In March 2022 HS Property Group applied for "Change of use of first and second floors from a bank to 4 no. apartments, and retention of existing A2 ground-floor unit. Removal of internal walls and fittings" (A2 is 'Professional and Financial Services'). Late August, the application was still pending.
