Haddington Post Office

Category B Listed Building, this Post Office is situated at 52 Court Street, Haddington. It can trace its history back to 1603 when Haddington had one of the very first post offices in Scotland, servicing mail between EDINBURGH and LONDON. This present building was designed by architect William Thomas Oldrieve 1853-1922 and built in 1908. Oldrieve had visited and studied post office buildings in Hamburg, Berlin, Vienna and Paris.
