Prominently situated on the bend in the B1046 where it changes from Comberton Road to High Street is this restaurant & fish & chip shop (the latter partly hidden by the tree). Formerly it was the Red Lion pub - my memory (not always reliable I'm afraid) suggests conversion occurred in the late 1990s. See: https://www.closedpubs.co.uk/cambridgeshire/toft.html . The patch of grass with old water pump is the nearest the village has to a village green (see Image).
