All that is left of Ribbleton Hall in Grange Park, Preston. Built by a Thomas Birchall in 1863, a local lawyer famed for his legion of mistresses. It passed through several hands including a boys preparatory school in the 1920's, and the military during the Second World War. It was finally demolished in 1955, to make way for a park for the local people of Preston.
