The main commercial activity seems to be a kennels and cattery past the dwellings on the left. The public road finishes here, but continues as a public byway (Lindsell 2) to Bustard Green. Beneath the Union Jack (white bordered civil shipping jack) is a blue flag with a white cross. This is the jack of the Greek navy, or, if the cross is off centre (hard to tell), that of Shetland. All seem unlikely in rural Essex.
