On leaving the Canley Ford meadows via the footpath, one is faced by the A45 (Fletchamstead Highway) dual carriageway and its traffic, on occasion alleviated by a display of wild flowers in the central reservation hiding the westward carriageway. This year's display is of poppies in various shades of red.
