Former zoo entrance, Knaresborough

The zoo opened in 1965 and closed in 1986, occupying a site that was formerly the plant nurseries of Conyngham Hall and is now Henshaw's Arts and Crafts Centre. This circular entrance tower, now roofless, seems to be all that is left of its buildings.
