This two-carriage diesel multiple unit has just come in from Aberdeen, and is about to turn round and go back there. The station was designed by James Lowson and Patrick M Barnett of the Great North of Scotland Railway, in 1902. It is Category B listed. See http://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB46174 for details. The diamond lattice overbridge is noteworthy.
