Numbers 35 and 37 West Street were originally one open hall house with a cross wing, now two dwellings. Built in the 17th century and remodelled in the early 19th century. Constructed of squared, coursed limestone under a Collyweston stone slate roof. Listed, grade II, with details at: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1225532 Easton on the Hill is a village in the eastern tip of north Northamptonshire, some 2 miles southwest of Stamford. The village name means 'east farm/settlement' on the hill. Most working residents travel to Stamford or Peterborough.
