Caldbeck’s village square is overlooked by the Oddfellows Arms pub and the area in front of the pub is used as a pub car park. A useful facility for walkers, the village store and Post Office is on the left beside the road leading from the far end of square. The Caldbeck Alternative Route of The Cumbria Way passes through the square (next photograph Image).
