AS well as signs for Oxfordshire Way and Chiltern Way where they cross Hollandridge Lane, and PS27 as the footpath number, one shows that the lane is a restricted byway. On the other gatepost a sign showing that the gate was paid for by Brakspear in exchange for information from Trust for Oxfordshire's Environment for circular walking routes from various pubs www.pub.trails.co.uk, and a sign from Chiltern Society saying their voulteers installed the gate. Reading all this gives a welcome pause in walking.
