There's spectacular unloveliness among the mountains of the Cairnwell Pass: acres and acres of car-parking, slopes despoiled with ski paraphernalia, utilitarian buildings, bulldozed roads and general, sundry abandoned stuff. The building at the centre of the image apparently houses a generator. The mountain beyond it all is Carn Aosda.
