Forest Row Camp War Memorial

The war memorial is dedicated to around 30,000 troops who passed through Forest Row Camp between 1914-19. Unveiled in 1926 and placed as close to the site of the camp as possible the memorial lists the battalions and regiments who were posted here rather than individual names. The surrounding area is now part of the Royal Ashdown Golf Course.
