No. 1501 is one of ten short wheel-based 0-6-0PTs built by BR Western Region in 1949. It is the only survivor and is based at the Severn Valley Railway where it is presented in BR lined black. The signal on the right has recently had a new wooden post installed with the aid of the steam breakdown crane. The photographer is on the right side of the boundary fence but in a rather awkward position.
