Part of a Grade II Listed 1865-67 shallow crescent of 19 houses. The 72-bedroom hotel, which was previously purchased by The UK Holiday Group in early 2010, was reportedly sold in early 2018 to Supported Independence Ltd. In 2009 Weston Mercury reported it was up for sale having been "Recently renovated by owner Richard Morris, and boasting restaurants and conference facilities". The property was turned into a hotel by the Dauncey family in the 1930s and traded as a family-run hotel until 2010.
