The Cowans Sheldon breakdown crane is just beginning to extract the sawn-off stump of a rotten signal pole. This is near Bewdley South Signal Box and alongside a public footpath. Unfortunately it is a tight location photographically and on the north of the line, so against the sun. Being so close to a tall object also induces converging verticals.
