I have been past this garden wall innumerable times in the years I have been resident in Swindon but have never had the opportunity to observe this relic from the days before GPS. Roadworks a kilometre east of here caused traffic to be backed up. Whilst my spouse was fuming I took this shot. The benchmark is on the benchmark database https://www.bench-marks.org.uk/bm37359
