This fine building has recently been converted to accommodate the town's Register Office, and the curved steps provide a fine position at which to have wedding photographs taken after marrying there. Poole Borough Council's website provides a useful page outlining the history of the Guildhall: http://www.boroughofpoole.com/go.php?structureID=U46405d3d22e69&ref=S464C399B79522
