Former flush bracket benchmark location

Detail of the junction between the original Ulverston Grammar School (now Ulverston Victoria High School) building and a more recently added extension. There was an Ordnance Survey flush bracket benchmark on the stone quoin in the centre of the photograph, removed when the extension was constructed. The flush bracket benchmark number S7107 marked a height of 35.2791m above sea level (Ordnance Datum Newlyn) last levelled and verified in 1968 (location photographs at Image and Image).
