Here is the parish church of St. Mary Magdalene in Turnastone, situated in the Golden Valley and is adjacent to the parish church of St. Bartholomew in Vowchurch (the walk from the two churches takes four-five minutes). This has origins to the 12th century, and was built in the 13th and 15th centuries. The church is in a tranquil location, and includes a fantastic incised marble slab monument to Thomas Harry inside the chancel.
