Taken from a 3rd floor balcony, this is a general view of the area now called Attwood Green. Originally very densely built up with back-to-back housing and slums, the area was largely redeveloped in the mid 20th century and then again, to a much higher standard, in the early 21st. Birmingham Central Mosque peeps up above the reddish block. Highgate and Sparkbrook lie in the distance.
