Effigies of Lady Berkeley and her first husband Sir Thomas Berkeley who fought at the battle of Crecy in 1346, her second husband was Sir William Whittington, her son Sir Richard Whittington became Lord Mayor of London and inspiration for the Dick Whittington pantomime character.
