Royal Hunting Lodge at Clipstone

Known locally as 'King John's Palace'- all that remains of the Royal Hunting Lodge at Clipstone in Sherwood Forest. First documented in 1164 it was used by successive kings, Edward I held parliaments here, but dedcayed by 1525.
